I'm still here!

Hello everybody!
It’s good to see some familiar names still in the blogs, although doubtless many of you will not know me, as its just over two years since my last ‘Friday Night Wurble’.
It’s been a tough time, and I still can’t do more than an hour in the garden or greenhouse before I have to take a long break.
However, adversity has not suppressed my passion for the beautiful Hemerocallis (day lily) as well as gardening in general, even though I have been forced to let Mother Nature have largely her own way; and what a revelation that has been!
Plants I thought were lost have popped up in places I’m sure I never planted them in! Others have self-seeded in the most unlikely cracks and corners, and one plant (yes, just one) of a named variety of periwinkle (Purple and white bicoloured flowers, but can’t remember the name) has not only spread itself with joyous abandon over most of the garden, but has been flowering non-stop since it was planted. It is a most attractive thug, but with the unfortunate underground growth habit of bindweed, and sadly much of it will have to come out. I hate destroying plants.
Anyway, that’ll do for now. I hope to join you all again soon, and do some catching up. All the best to everyone in these trying times. Thank goodness for gardens!
Big Bumblebee :)

Nice to see you back. sorry you have had such a torrid time. is your periwinkle Vinca Jenny Pym?
Mother Nature has here own way of doing things doesn't she. I often find some of the prettiest plantings are more accidental in my garden too.

Well hello there B B, it's lovely to see you back, I most certainly do remember you and think of you each year when the Day Lilies reward me with their lovely blooms, all down to you sending me a parcel many years ago..
Sorry you have been having a tough time but even a little time spent in the garden must be doing you good, easy steps is better then no steps isn't it, just sit and admire B B, I found the garden is capable of looking after itself for a while and as you say does bring some surprises .....
Take care xx
