Another long time favorite are Ferns, not every body’s thing but hold a special place for me in my garden, the subtle shades and delicate forms fascinate me and I hope i may convert a few on GOY. There are a lot of them ,and it has taken a long time to photo and make sure as many names as possible are correct ,not easy as the experts don’t always agree,so there are a few I am not sure about and a few I do not know (help with these would be appreciated)

Dryopteris Affinis Crispa Congesta

Well i have duplicated a couple and missed a couple hope at least some of you enjoy.

What a fabulous collection of ferns you have! What conditions are yours enjoying. I would like to get some in my new woodland garden :). I have Osmunda regalis (Royal Fern) and Matteuccia struthiopteris (Ostrich Fern) next to my pond, love ferns.
Added your blog to my favourites.

These are lovely Brian have put on favourites as I can savour them at leisure. I only have Woodwardia fimbriata (Giant chain fern) which I bought last year for by the pond and would like to add to it so you have given me a lot to think about.

some i have had for years, but not many have come from GC's mostly plant fairs and specialist nurseries,i add a couple more each year, it's rare for one to die in this garden unless they originate in Australia.
