We were at Crarae Gardens last week and they had some Rhododendrons flowering too!!! I have started to put my Pelargoniums in the green house, along with my Day Lilies that are still flowering.......that is if I can stop the slugs eating the flowers. The season is coming to an end here in Scotland. :o(

Lots of colour Bjs and loads of berries, they do say that means a bad winter I believe.
I got rid of my everlasting sweetpeas yesterday and found that underneath and hidden away until now, my honersuckle is flowering again, I`ve never known it do that before and its been there for years, polyanthus all flowering down in my shady corner and various spring rock plants have been flowering on and off for weeks now, admittedly not as profusely as they would at their normal flowering time but very confused plants in the garden this year....
Lovely photo`s...

Your pooper scooper is going to be working full time!
There are masses of berries on every pyracantha Ive seen. I cant remember them being this berryiferous last year..does anyone?

Lovely blog Bjs. Great plants you have there. I think everyone is finding the same thing this year, very confusing for the plants. My Hellebores are also flowering. Love the colchicum, and your idea with the ferns.

Those ferns look lovely and healthy and certainly cheer up that wall. Also love the cyclamen Herderifolium and that Salvia is a fantastic colour.
The leaves are dropping already on my dogwoods...

Meadowland
totally hardy, its a martyr to a tiny caterpillar and have to spray it in spring and summer to keep it at bay, does not touch the flowers only the leaves,

Lol about the clemaitis it is a good grower, you can cut back in early spring right down to the ground and will come back just as good. Such wonderful variety you have flowering now and why do you want to get rid of such a beautiful flower , stunning the Colchicum. Lol Jamie will be going to the toilet regular hehe.
