Yesterday we were forecast rain and high winds all day today and that’s what we have
So with that in mind I took the secateurs into the garden last night.
Will leave you to put the caption on the last photo.
He was asked to face the flower but he said that this was his best profile ,need Terra to give him a few lessons ,afraid he will never be a Conker .lol

Very good thinking, Brian. That peony just shouts 'Adore me!' and I agree with Karen that the vase just sets it off to perfection. As for Jamie, he deserves to be adored too.

I'm with SBG on this one, always rains to spoil the blooms. You did the next best thing by bringing it indoors Brian.
Jamie just telling us that he's just as beautiful me thinks :)

I have a paeonia and I can guarantee every year that as soon as the buds open it will rain and blow a gale. I am lucky if I see the flowers for longer than 2 days. Same this year the buds opened on Tuesday and the wind and rain came on Wednesday!

Thats easy Brian, Jamie says he's not scared by a drop of rain, it makes his coat curlier, thats why he has the superior look on his face..
The paeonia is gorgeous, don't blame you for taking it indoors..

I hope it lasts a long time in the vase Bjs. It is beautiful. You have lots more buds so lets hope they last for a few weeks too. I think Jamie is only trying to convey that he is on guard to ensure that the beautiful flower is safe.

I love that flower, and I don't blame you for bringing it indoors. That vase is perfect for it too! Jamie is so handsome, he's a topper. There's only one Conker though isn't there! :))
