Autumn Leaves

Having just looked at the Old gunners colourful collage I thought you may like to see what is very easy to do with a flat bed scanner.these are leaves I collected last autumn.they are placed face down on the scanner plate and a sheet of riged paper placed carefully over them, here i used an A4 pastel paper for effect but other light cardboard can be used ,the idea is to gently press the leaves to avoid dark shadows when the scan is done.this one looked quit nice framed.
If you want to cheat it is possible to do a collage with pictures useing the same method.

Thank you all for your comments .
I feel i should add if anyone tries this with fresh plant material make sure when you have finished to clean the scanner glass plate ,in case anything sticky was left behind from the leaves this would ruin a photo were it to be scanned afterwards

Very inventive Bjs!!! I still haven't worked out how to use my scanner and I've had it nearly a year! I knew how to use the other one but this one is a mystery to me! I keep asking the boys who tell me but then I forget again .. Poor old devil
