We went to a lovely GC today to buy more plants, what did we come home with? a Yankee candle diffuser, small candle and a pot of jam grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!, couldnt see anything I liked :-/
I wanted to get a Fatshedera and they didnt have any so back to buying off the net lol.After a nice pub lunch we came home only to find I had left my front door key indoors DOH!! managed to break in, good job I’m skinny ! :)
The late afternoon sun tempted me out to the back garden (and the football on the box) I dug up all my strawberry plants and potted them.
8 days to go!! yay!!

lol Gattina ! Hywel - yeah i'm sure I can i'll just have to add more plants to the order to compensate for the p & p!
work starts on the new back garden on the 18th :) Pam - its a lovely GC has clothes, gifts, restaurant , I think its a Wyevale.

We used to have a Wyevale in Altrincham, but someone else took it over - you wouldn't know the difference, though.

They were bought by ' the garden centre group' and recently sold again to some consortium or other....

The only thing i dont like is that the plants are very overpriced, i go to B & Q qite a bit and get some great bargains!

On my last trip back I discovered (Thanks to savvy GoYers) Wilkinsons, which is astoundingly good value. B & Q are remarkably good value, and the range of plants is growing.
You're right about "The garden Centre Group" Pam - the first I knew about it was when my Pensioners' discount card wasn't accepted any more. Meanies!

I know what you mean about Yankee candles - sometimes that's all I can find worth buying at my garden centre.
