My name is John Beaulieu (pronounced Bowl-you)
I am a hardy geranium addict, with my collection now around the 200 variety mark. I have also become very interested in the erodiums, which are even more of a challenge to come by here in Ontario. I enjoy collecting seed and growing from seed. My wife, Brenda, and I have a one acre property, with more gardens and less lawn all the time. I have a few nursery beds for raising my seedlings.
We live in Midhurst (central Ontario) about 55 miles north of Toronto.
The climate is USDA zone 4 here. We get lots of snow cover in winter, which helps us grow some borderline hardy plants. Summers are becoming hotter and drier, with a week of mid-30C in July for the last 3 years.
