I am so sorry to hear of the sadness in your life and like you I couldn't think of life without my OH too. I do hope that you have had a lot of support from your family etc. although I know nothing will ever be the same in your life, but I'm sure your husband would want you to carry on and try to get the best from your life.

To have to have an operation on your hands as well must seem like the last straw but all being well the op will be a great success and you will be able to get back to your garden later on this year. When you do perhaps you could make part of it a special place dedicated to your husband ?

I hope your operation goes well. You'll be much better after it, and you'll be able to slowly tidy some of your garden.

Sorry to hear about your husband. I'm glad you kept him at home. I did that with my mother.

Please don't worry too much about your garden being in a mess. Sometimes other things happen and it's not possible to keep up with the work.
I hope you'll be able to show us some photos later on. It would be nice to see your garden being tended again :)

It is wonderful that you have come to GoY and have been encouraged by the messages you've received during what will have been such a sad situation on the passing of your husband. The friendships and help here from GoY members is something very special for us all.

I do hope your surgery goes well today and that you have a swift recovery. I guess you won't be typing/blogging any time soon following your hand surgery but I hope you can manage to log in occasionally and keep track of us all and look forward to the time when you can get back into your garden.
