thank the lord this lousy weather is near over, cant wait to get my wellies dirty again, all is ready in my [sanctuary] “shed”, heater is working, radio,&most important the kettle. Tools are all cleaned, oiled & ready to go.
all the seeds are ready to be sown, veg patch has been turned over again & again, & again, just got to get some seed spuds.
I have missed being out there, in the winter I spend most of my time online as TV is crap,so I leave my wife to watch all the stupid soaps, I bet most of you think I,m a grumpy old man,but I guess I am not alone.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE

I watch very little tv myself. It's nothing but boring rubbish. My tv has been on more in the last 2 yrs since my mother came to stay than it's been in the last 20 yrs with me. !!

Lol, you dont have the monopoly on being grumpy at this time of the year,I prefer to say I,m suffering from gardening withdrawal symptoms..........

Oh that will be a lovely trip Boydie. Murray and I were going to go on the Alaska cruise in July this year but with our son being ill, it looks like we won't be going at that time. Maybe later in the year. When you are on the Rocky Mountaineer you will come through Kamloops and you will almost be able to see my house from the train. :o)

sad about your son & your planned trip,I will keep an eye out for your house in Kamloops, tell me what colour curtains you have, hahaha & thanks for the chat, is there anything you would like brought over from UP NORTH?
[joke] still cold here, but have already put seeds in greenhouse, fingers crossed, can hear chirping from a nestbox I made last year, so I am expecting some lodgers.
cheers BOYDIE.

The sanctuary sounds good - you are really sorted out there! Yes, I hope we have seen the back of the freeze too - but sadly, the forecasters don't think so. Fingers crossed - they are not always right, after all.
