We inherited a few rose bushes 22 yrs ago and added a “Retirement Rose” to the back garden…(OK shan’t mention it again here!)
Basically the roses change colour on 2nd flush.
The big thundering rose bush is “Nevada”. A creamy yellow fragrant beauty. In June we can have hundreds of blooms on one bush…..Waft……Now the roses are all pink or tinged pink……does it on 2nd flush.
Had 2 or 3 of these bushes. -now only 1. They are normally light red & yellow & flower non stop. The current colour is new!! No idea what they are called!!
This rose normally is very fragrant dark deep red. Just noticed a different flower!More delicate!
This rose lives by the wall base so there is little room for manoeuvre. Just has a couple of flowers each yr.

Some lovely blooms there Bill. I've just been seduced by roses, having avoided them in the past. I've 7 up to press. Gertrude Jekyll, Ruby Wedding, Arthur Bell, Special Anniversary and two which I've lost the labels from! Lets hope mine look as good as yours in years to come.
