On retiring I recently moved to the beautiful Isle of Bute having spent most of my life in Devon. I'm an absolute garden novice since in our 'previous life' my husband and I led extremely busy lives and were fortunate to have a wonderful occasional gardener who made sure our garden was cared for and nurtured.

Now its our turn to sample the joys of looking after a garden and we've got a challenging 3/4 acre plot to keep us well employed but we're enjoying every minute we spend 'pottering & pondering'!

We know we've got a huge amount to do and learn but 'GrowsonYou' appears to be a wonderful medium for seeking help and guidance from like-minded folk.
