Really enjoyed after a long time

We worked really hard all day.As there was a holiday it was easier for both my kids and myself. The piece of land was really a good deal of problem. We collected many sacks of weeds.there were bricks, wires, pieces of woon and many things more. After some time the littleones also joined us.They helped us in their own small ways. The way my mother had put the seed of gardening in me,I hope that I could do the same in them.I don’t want them to live in the world of concrete only.I want their little hands to join together and save the environment and finally the earth.

The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility & the wings of independence. ~ (unknown author)

I agree. My father passed on his love of plants to me. As a child he encouraged me to care for the plants in our garden. It was a passion we shared until he died, a few years ago. My youngest son lives in London and has always had a garden, so maybe the gene has been passed on.
Best wishes
Linda

We can only hope,Camillia, that they grow up to be good, kind, loving people, and yours with your loving care, certainly will.

Very well expressed, Camillia. I hope your children grow up with the seed of gardening flourishing in their veins.
My father introduced me to gardening when I was a young boy & I've always gardened, well at least grown plants, where ever I've lived. Unfortunately none of my 3 children seemed to share that love with me until my daughter started to grow a few things about 3 years ago. Now we have a mutual interest & swap plants! :-) My daughter is in her mid 30s & has a daughter of her own - so its never too late!
