I wandered out into the garden tonight, as the weather has improved vastly from the weekend and the temperature has risen quite markedly. My intention was just to water my potato bags.
I was startled by next doors cat hiding under some Ladies Mantle that grows under the rowan tree that the bird seed feeders hang on. I shoooed it away and noticed that there were a few weeds, so I pulled them, then the path had a few biggish weeds that I could pull and some of the old teasles had fallen down, so I removed them too as the new plants are huge now.
I then remembered that I had been given some Bizzy’s so I planted them in some baskets, and some asiatic lilies that my neighbour had left for me were found a place – which took me to some planted barrels that really did need a tidy up.
Time for coffee, only then remembered the potato bags and their much needed drink!
It was like going to the shop for bread and milk, walking round and buying everything else & forgetting them! Or is it just me that does that? :-)

Yep same for me too - also I take a book out and sit down and then spot a weed and thats it I'm off!! so much for sitting down and relaxing!!

Lol - I totally relate to you Genuisscuffy, I never sit for more than a few minutes, I move my chair about and weed around it!
It's quite comforting to know I'm not the only one! :)))

Oh cazkiss ... you are so not the only one! It's even easier to do in the garden as one job leads to another & you keep spotting things that need doing before going back indoors wondering what it was you went out for!
I'm like it with the housework too!
