Left a white camellia. Also a acer and a few other nice plants but it will need some work on it. There is a greenhouse but that will need some work. I will have to get someone to help me now as I lost my husband just be for Christmas so at this moment I have to sort myself out and look forward to some nice weather all for now.

hi chadwell ,you have had a distressing time and I hope 2016 will be better for you.
I agree as the weather improves you will be able to tackle some of the worst parts of the garden and then plan and plant up as the seasons progress.

Morning, Chadwell, so sorry you have had such a sad time. I think you will be surprised just what you can do in the garden, little by little. If you can get some help make sure it's for the jobs you don't like! Do keep in touch and let us know how you get on. I will look forward to hearing how your plans develop. If the white camellia is like mine, it will be really lovely.

Hello Chadwell, I am sorry to hear of your loss but its good that you are planning ahead, once the weather picks up you will be able to tackle the garden, as said a bit at a time is the way to do it, you are probably in for a lot of surprises as the year moves on, there could be any number of bulbs and plants hidden away so its best to wait and see what you have.. It will be interesting to see your new garden and also how you are getting on with making it your own, take care....

Hello Chadwell - so sorry to hear your sad news of your loss - I am sure you will find hidden treasures as Lincslass says in your garden - why not get a few pots to start with - perhaps grow a few herbs in them and later on set some seeds in them and work on the garden bit at a time - sounds quite a challenge - Jane

You've had a hard time lately and it can take a long time to begin to feel more like your old self again. Happily we gardeners have had a lot of practice in moving on and planning for the future and its wonderful that you have a camellia and an acer, to say nothing of a greenhouse - to start you off! Perhaps there will be some bulbs appearing soon - and if there aren't you could splash out on some ready grown ones to cheer things along. Don't try to do too much to start with - you are bound to be a bit low in energy for a while.
Getting someone to help sounds like a very good idea.

Hi Chadwell ...
I see you've been a GoY member since 2009.
Good luck with your garden. While the weather is wet and cold, you can do the planning, and then in the spring and summer you'll have fun with your new ideas. I hope you can get some gardening help. You'll certainly receive lots of gardening advice from GoYers, if required.
