Just come back from my sister’s house in Bournemouth where she has a third of an acre….it’s huge and is a big challenge. She doesn’t even like gardening , I said next time I’m down I’ll bring my shears and tackle some bushes etc ..I’m just itching to get my hands on it.

My previous garden was a third of an acre GB, the difficulty comes when you have to leave it.

So was mine Denise and I was both sorry and glad to say goodbye. It takes ages to lose that "large garden mentality", I was forever planting shrubs which were much too large for my new small garden.
Sorry Charlie, for digressing on your blog. What a shame your sister doesn't like gardening but at least she won't mind what you do to it with those shears! Have fun :o))

She could rent it out for an allotment. Pity it's not in my area I'd have bitten her hand off for the opportunity.

Yea third of an acre would be wonderful , I find myself just drifting off when I'm there just thinking about all the wonderful plants I could buy ....I'm running out of space in my little garden .
