The happy gardner

Hi Everyone
I am brand new to this site and infact to the art of blogging …so here goes.
I decided that enough was enough this year and we had waited long enough for the council to decide if they were going to re-imburse us for the damage caused by roots to the lawn and grab the bull by the horns and just tackle the garden myself this year . The results have been fab and both myself and my partner Marco have embraced our little garden and enjoyed turning it from a prettty boring just green toa wonder of coulour . I am addicted and can’t wait to get home and get digging, weeding etc. I have taken this week off with the intention to gardening and it has not been dry for one day …typical ….still good for the lawn I guess.
Hopefully I will write with further progress soon .

Nice garden and I'm sure as you develop so will your garden. For me time is not allowed in the garden so I would ditch the clock and follow the sun.

You are doing well with making your garden very pretty ...
glad you were able to sort the roots damaging the lawn ..
seems if you were going to wait for the council to do anything, you might have waited for ever ... ;o)

Welcome to GoY. What a lovely, colourful garden you've got there.
Addictive isn't it, gardening (and this site lol). I've started gardening recently and find that I pop out into the garden to do one little job and don't come back in for a couple of hours (when I'm cold, hungry or can't see any more lol).
Enjoy your new hobby.

You have a lovely garden, your lawn is very green compare to mine overhere, we have had drought for months...but the few days of heavy rain has helped a lot.
