A day at the seaside

Recently we were wandering around Ilfracombe and saw the Waverley in the harbour, so i had to take some pic’s of this fabulous old vessel.In fact it is the Worlds last Sea going Paddle Steamer.
This is the Town crier and his wife, the whole town dresses up in period costume for a whole week in June and walk round the town it is somthing else to see.
Here he welcomes Waverley’s passengers to Ilfracombe.

I've seen this sailing off the coast at Worthing a few years ago ... a wonderful sight. : o )
