Hooray Snow at last

This was Teignmouth this morning. Not a snowflake in site :0( Murky and cold with Rain.
So a short ride ( about 20 miles ) and we were on the Moor and YES! there is the snow
I would love to live here
Then our poor little friends were there trying to get some food, as you can see there was a car parked here so it left the grass uncovered they could then eat there dinner
And then home for a warm up and a large cuppa

Beautiful scenes there Sue those ponies are so hardy are nt they. At least you were back safe and sound for the warm cuppa.

The problem as I understand it Diane is that the purebred native British ponies can stand the harshest weather and do better on coarse grazing than lush fields which cause such problems as laminitis. Its the unscrupulous people who turn unwanted animals loose, these and their progeny do not have the native hardiness and struggle to survive
The moors look bleak Sue but beautiful, and I love Teignmouth even in the gloom.......

Oh it looks so cold and misty - I would have stayed at home too! But the trees look lovely.
