my roses

i think i have gone rose made this year, buying them like they going out of fashion . have got ten this year, mostly climers and ramberlers to clime thro trees , they briten the dulest corner dont they .but i am most proud of my arch this year its buitifull and full. only 3 years old .
the top 1 is from the arch over my veg garden , carnt remeber the red one , the yellow 1 is canary bird. some others i got are rose allbertine , new dawn ,golden showers ,carnt remeber them all ,will have to go look in the garden ,but its raineing now and dont want to get wet lol
think i am getting quite a colltion now i must have bt 25 or so now . really hooked and plenty more room 4 climers
have planted a rose hedge at the bak of the kitchen on last part o banking , pink .a bit like a wild rose called ballarina . its a srub rose and can get quite big . but no pics yet as its only just budding , so heres my fav one this year , hope u not bored looking at it , cos i think its really pretty.
and a few more .
and the last 3 are taken in the dark ,bt 1 o,clock in the morn lol .
hope u enjoyed my roses as much as i do .there is more and wen they flower i will post more pics , untill then happy gardening and sunny skys x

They're lovely Cristina - really lovely. I only have 2 roses & I neglect them dreadfully.
I especially love your yellow one - canary bird - & the next red one. Beauts!

They're beautiful - I especially like the canary bird. The colour and shape are gorgeous. They make me think of wild roses in the hedgerow.

thanks fluff and jan , thats y i chose them too.as love wild roses , the shrub rose ballerina looks a bit like the wild dog rose. will put pic on wen it flowers

I love climbing roses aswell. I've bought 3 this year so far. I have to stop myself buying more. I'm running out of room lol.
You have some very beautful ones esp the one in the dark - it's gorgeous lol :o)

Love the white/pink climbing ones. What are they? How many of them do you have planted? About how long are the canes? Do they flower continually all season, or just once, and how old are the bushes? Sorry to sound so (full of questions) just trying to figure out what variety they are. I don't see any close-ups of them. I would love to plant some in my garden. Does this site have a (cutting swap page?) I'm new, and trying to find my way around!
Aren't the white roses so... lovely at night? people don't realize it, until they are out in the garden at night!

heron the 1st pic is of the rose arch and is huge lol . thanks bjs glad u liked it .rose lady, this one flowers once wth may b a few to follow wen i have cut it bak is fab isent it . the canes are very long am allways tieing it in. am trying to root sum now so watch this space. i got it from fryers roses in knutsford, think they do a catalog have a loog on google.the top pic is a close up.its 3 years old now and very rampernt .have had a look 4 the label but carnt find it. wen we went to fryers i told them i wanted cottage type old fashioned roses.thanks pip they are butiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiifull.thanks seabur as well .and bev(flori) i was a bit worrid it wud not deliver as they allways look better in person dont they. so they are 4 you , glad u kiked it and best wishes in the xsam xx thanks to every 1 who commented.

Wow Cristina......such stunning roses you have and the arch looks amazing....they look so healthy, you must have looked after them really well...my fave is Canary bird.........i've wanted this one for ages....:o))

Oh Cristina, so many beautiful roses, all those lovely colours...... I just wouldn't be able to pick a favourite one they are all sooooo nice.

jany i was anoyed bt that rose cos i payed £7 50 4 it and they had it in parkers 4 £2 99 , but still its pretty lol hey ho..thanks madge sunny days all round then.silver soooooooooooooo glad u likeie haha got more just dun pics yet .

Cristina, it's always nice to know the names of our flowers but in some cases there are so many that look similar but try ''Splendid Garland' for the first pic.
