this area is very quiet ,no shops and only one pub lol. it is also a conservation area
the area is near milam and is an old mining village.
i hope you all enjoy our little getaway in silecroft it’s so peaceful. the days can be very hot one min. and chucking it down the nxt. but wot ever it does its always beautiful.
as you can see its very tranquil
do you like the gnarled twisted wood. .there are lots of interesting things to find if you have the patience……….

We went every year on holiday to the lakes it is one of my favourite places , we stayed at a very small caravan site( only four caravans) in the Western lakes which is quiet as well, you went to the beach on a bank holiday and only saw a handful of people. The scenery is breathtaking.

A lovely place, I have to admit that I too allways think of The Lake District as 'Windermere' I've never been near the coast. It reminds me of 'The Warren' on Anglesea with all the beautifuland and plentiful wild flowers. I have a friend who keeps telling to go to a place up there, I think it's called Silverdale but no matter where you go it's a beautiful part on England.

4 more roses!! not ramblers, where on earth are you going to squeeze them in? Only kidding, I bought one myself today, said I wouldn't get any more. It's one I've wanted for ages and it jumped out at me. It's called Queen Elizabeth. I didn't realise until I read the small print that it will grow higher that HRH herself. Still, though I've not much room horizontally I've room vertically. will PM you when the weather improves....should that be if? I'm getting fed up with all this wind n' rain. Can't decide where to put the SP thought I would wait 'till it flowers.
