Another Busy Morning

We had a little list for our visit to the garden yesterday.
OH continued to prune the apple trees and I took over what to me is one of the most mind borning jobs ever….pricking our and potting on.
We had lettuce, tomatoes and a pot of leeks that needed splitting, so the green house for me. The onions we planted in pots are growing stongly so next week they and the shallots and grlic we go in.
I watered the leeks, strewberries and rhubarb, there were a few sticks on the rhubarb ready to pull. Planted another couple of strawberry plans from the bag we had at the apartment and then set to on the beds for the onions etc. I managed to get both of them hoed and weeded before we left for home. The poly tunnel got a soaking too.
The apple trees are finished, the pear trees are next. I noticed that the peach tree on the wall is out in blossom. The fruit was infested with earwigs last year, I need to see what we can do to prevent that happening again. They are lucious white peaches.
Next week we will have 2 visits, one on Tuesday and one on Friday, lots to do now the season is warming up a bit.
