Another day in the garden

OH has been raking moss out of the grass this morning, still loads of it coming out.
I had a couple of errands to run and wanted to make tomato sauce for some stuffed cannelloni for supper.
We ate lunch in the garden, really nice to be able to sit out and enjoy the garden, plans afoot for a few changes, but they will be done gradually.
Earlier I bought some lupins, they were supposed to be one white and three coloured, guess what….they are all white sigh. Could I ask if anyone is keeping seed from coloured lupins they might send me a couple of dried pods? I would be so grateful.
I am so skint I just dare not buy anything else for the garden, even though I am itching to do so. A new mover on our caravan, 2 new tyres for the car car insurance and a service have wiped me out.
I put a message on freecycle and two people have offered me pots which is super………now I can pot up the rest of the hostas and grow them on.
The good weather is forecast to last most of the week, so as we are on a water meter it will be watering cans at the ready and washing up water (non greasy) chucked on the beans etc.
I am picking lots of lettuce just now and we have little gem coming on for later….the beans and tomato’s have flowers on, so we should see some signs of development there too shortly. Not sure about the courgette though, plenty of flowers but no sign of any courgette’s weird!!

Cannot grow them here Casarina, my toms have flowers and one of the cucumbers has babies so thats good, I hope you're right with the weather report, not bad here today as well, been pottering a bit but my knee is really hampering me I didn't realise how much kneeling I actually do, its a case of reaching what I can and ignore the rest all done in easy stages, lol...
I have a pink lupin just going over so remind me in a couple of weeks, I had a gorgeous mauve one last year but it didn't reappear which was a disappointment.....

It's a nuisance having to pay bills, and not enough to buy plants. I like to save 20p coins and buy plants from them when I have a few £s lol
Last year I sewed Lupin seeds - mixed colours they were supposed to be, but they were all blue. Very pretty, but all blue ...

I used to save 20p pieces for the Vets bills, amazing how they add up in a year. Good when gardeners can help each other with these problems by sharing unwanted plants.

At least your Courgettes have flowers...mine haven't yet.I think this usually happens to mine...lots of flowers (mainly male) before any fruits. My Climbing French beans have been awful too.a few are just starting to climb the canes now but out of 2 lots sown indoors and 2 lots outdoors(approx 50 in total) only eight have germinated!
just been sitting out in our garden but it's still a bit chilly here for that!
