Nothing much going on in the garden. Containers emptied and geraniums replaced with bulbs pansies and polyanthus.
Garlic planted in the sq ft garden should get enough to last me for around 12 months.
Went for my eye surgery on Monday, after sitting like idiots for over 2 hours, the surgeon did not turn up, they had to get a locum in. He checked my eye and then said he would not do the op, as my eyelids were inflamed. So over 3 hours wasted. Medication and have to make another appointment. Not a happy bunny.

What a waste of time ! You'd think they would have let you know.
It's nice you have your bulbs planted. You can look forward too the spring now :)

Sorry to hear you have eye problems I hope you can have the treatment soon. With your bulbs in and your garlic planted for next year you sound like you are well organised. You probably benefitted from just sitting even if it was disappointing. You have had a tremendous workload recently and maybe somebody upstairs thought it was time you had time out. I'm sure the surgeon will be embarrassed at letting his patients down and will apologise when he sees you next time. He must have had a very good reason for not appearing. I hope your new home will more than compensate for this hiccup and you can look forward to enjoying seeing all your hard work spring in to life.

What a let down after having got yourself all ready for it. Very frustrating. Still, you now have your spring containers to look forward to. Hope your eye will be sorted soon.
