Very sticky few weeks, I have been in hospital having a pacemaker fitted and am now 4 through my 6 week post op period. I got out of hospital 6 days before we moved.

The garden at the bungalow is slowly being dug over. We managed to find the local chappie who does jobbing gardening and he has been very busy, weeding and digging over the veg garden.

The veg we had has been planted up fingers crossed its not to late for some of the stuff.

OH is digging the front garden so I can get some of the shrubs and plants put in.

Its not been easy, I have restricted use of my left hand and arm just now. Its not easy, you are so used to being able to use both hands. Putting out the laundry is a challenge!!

I will post more photos of the garden as it evolves.

Welcome back Csarina, its good to know you are making progress, you have my every sympathy as I'm in the same boat and its very frustrating only being able look but not touch, the garden beckons doesn't it, I'm back to sitting about again now for a while though, your man is doing a grand job with the veg plot as no doubt your OH is with the front and think how good it will feel when you are able to put that first plant in, I gave up trying to peg the washing out and pop it all into the tumble dryer, as long as someone else does my lifting I don't do too badly but oh boy the folding of the laundry can be a challenge, lol.
Hope you are settled into your new home and that you will be very happy there, I will be looking out for your photo's as you make progress in the new garden...

Nice to have you back again Csarina. You will be able to enjoy lots of armchair gardening planning out what you want to do with that lovely virgin space! You were fortunate to find a gardener - they are like gold dust round here. He's making a very professional job of that digging!

It will be interesting to watch the development - the timing should be just right for autumn planting. Try to enjoy the rest and being waited on a little!

Good wishes to you, and to Lincs as well!

Welcome back, so glad all has gone well for you. Just take it easy and don't be tempted to overdo it. Enjoy being in a managerial role while your OH and helper do all the work :)

Welcome back
That's what you need , someone reliable to do a bit of gardening for you...he's putting his back into it and doing a good job by the look of it. I like to think my customers say similar about me!
