rain again

we had rain all day Friday and today it started at lunchtime. OH has finished digging out the weeds in the front border, one side is planted, I now have to sort out plants for the other 3 borders. The grass will need cutting next week sometime, I want to curve off the corners of the grass and dig a foot wide border either side of the path and get the lavender plants in.
I have an appointment next week to check my pacemaker, I am hoping I will get the all clear to drive again and also be able to do some garden work. My fingers are itching to get my hands mucky.
The back garden has a bit to go, the herbaceous border needs the weeds digging out, G has been busy working on the harvest just now, so has not been able to come and finish digging for us. It will get done.

Yes the rain was desperately needed and thankfully it has done some good but oh boy its sure made the grass put a spurt on.

Yes, rain here all of Ridaand most of today as well...but, boy did we need it?! Everything should start growing stronger on you r patch now!
