Rain at last

We have had a couple of days when it has rained but no decent amount. Saturday we finished planting the herbaceous border apart from the spring bulbs which will go in next month sometime. I bought a bag of 50 today. I have about another 100 we brought with us. Mostly daffs but a few tulips. I want to get a couple of rose trees for the front and a climber for the back.

OH was in the garden after lunch, he came in as it started to rain. We had some heavy rain for a while, but it settled into a gentle downpour now. We really need it, the garden has suffered with the fine weather, we were having to water the pots most nights.

I am still having to take it quite slowly, have good days and bad just have to put up and shut up.
