Famous last words, in Morrison today 2 plants jumped into my basket and in Lild, well it was 2 baskets of violas and 4!!! Packets of bulbs……….when we got home my new spade had arrived, OH inspected it and announced it was much too heavy for me! I should use his spade and he will use mine!!! Cheeky monkey, the spade was a birthday present from my daughter.
Hopefully I will get some of the clematis in over the next few days, that’s if the rain holds off……..otherwise they will just have to wait a bit longer, they are starting to die back a bit any way.
I am back to buying lettuce we used the last one yesterday, OH keeps saying he is going to put some winter lettuce in, no sign of that happening yet!!

Always a space somewhere for some new plants, I'd let him use the spade as often as he liked Csarina as he has been doing a grand job for you....

Ha ha....get your husband out there in the rain with your new spade to plant the Clematis. The rain will help them establish....and it would serve him right for pinching your spade!!!
