A nice few days after the very wet beginning of the week.
Rob came this morning and put down the turf on the bed that OH had prepared, so now we have to water it twice a day unless it rains.
Some of the bulbs are in, we are having a problem, with something digging them out, not sure what it is but we found quite a few out of the ground this morning, Something had been sratching but it was not a cat.
I have 200+ bulbs to go in the herbaceous border, hope to get some in tomorrow. We also have onions, shallots and garlic to go in. OH has also made a bed behind the raspberries we are going to put down to spuds in the spring. The ground is quite heavy, so with the manue that has gone on plus the spuds in the spring maybe the soil will break up a bit more.

So neat and tidy, looking very well cared for.
Could a badger be getting into your garden?

Its really going places now! You've both worked very hard on it.
Frustrating when your bulbs are dug up. I had some grape hyacinths on a grass bank and found just bare soil there a few days ago - Mr Badger again - he had the rest last spring. If there's no access for a badger it could well be a squirrel, but both those would normally eat what they dig up.
Looks as if you had some good beans too. Hope you are feeling stronger now.
