No gardening done today its rained for most of the day and it has been quite cold.

I am hoping the rain might make it a bit easier to get the weeds out in the front garden.

I have watered the pots that do not get the rain, the bungalow roof prevents rain getting to the pots that are under it.

The new water barrel has come, we just need K to come and fit it up for us on the coal house where we have had new guttering installed

I appear to have caught OH’s cold, sore throat, and thick head……..so grateful to him for sharing his germs…not.
I think he is feeling a bit guilty, he took me out for afternoon tea this afternoon, no plants jumped into may basket but some crystal bowls did. We have a day hospice in a village near us, they have a charity shop which also does teas. I always seem to come home with some crystal. I think some of the people who donate are getting rid of crystal, I love it……..so 4 dishes and a small flower vase came home with me today. Makes a chnage from plants!!
