The feathery leaves of this wild plant are just poking through in odd places.
Keep an eye open for it on walks. Dig a piece up to take home in a small polythene bag. Plant in a pot for a year or so to get a good root on. Then plant out in your Rose Garden. It will get rid of Greenfly, saving money on sprays.
Dont plant it near grazing animals.
Seeds available for those who prefer this method.

No its quite different. It used to be used as a remedy for worms in children.
Remember it is not legal any more to dig up wild plants though.

Just a little piece to grow on in a pot for the eventual transfer to the Rose Garden would not bring the Law around to your house.
A man once shouted at me from his car because I was digging up a piece of Comfrey Vulgaris on a grass verge, to grow on for composting. I shouted back at him. I still go by there, and it has spread like the weed it is.
These 'blanket' laws are ridiculous.
The wild plants that need to be preserved should be listed.
I take my 'British Wild Flowers' book down the field in the Spring and I hoe very carefully on my allotment, labelling and cherishing the wild plants that the birds have brought me as seeds in their claws. They fascinate me.
Everyone could do this in their gardens, just keep a sharp eye open as they hoe for unusual leaves in amongst the weeds.
