Standard Roses - be careful !

The GC agreed to change these plants that reverted to Brambles. Seems they came from Poland. I accepted replacements on condition they were grown in England.
The GC assured me this would be so.
Seems they have learned their lesson about making money with cheap imports.
Two young men came this a.m. dug up the Brambles to return to the GC. Brought me 3 Standards to replace them. ‘Peace’, ‘Silver Wedding’, and ‘Blue Moon.’
It was a lot of work before the rain came down. I feel happier now its all over, but very worried at the time, thought I had done something wrong.
When buying Rose Plants of any type, always check the labels, or origin.
Better still, buy from a Rose Grower.

It was the right thing for them to do in replacing the roses for you. It's best as you say, to check the labell.
