Enjoying my revived Acers in the greenhouse today

while hurricane Bertha still raved around outside -
I was thinking that members who write of difficulties
with narrow gardens, gardens overlooked by trees,
sheds, or neighbour’s brick walls -
could give some thought to getting a small polytunnel
to create an ’ Acer Woodland’.
They can be bought for about £3 from supermarkets, grow fairly quickly in large pots of good compost,
easy to keep fairly damp, and relaxing to look at – out of the wind.
A comfortable chair, tea making kit, really nice.
I am going to get some more !
