I have several flower gardens and by this time of the year I do so miss them.
I survive the winter months with my houseplants.I just can’t imagine a house with out plants.I talk to them but sometimes they just don’t answer me or should I say they don’t answer loud enough.I try to be a good caretaker but sometimes I stumble,especially with violets.I have better luck with my orchids.
Maybe someday………..

I could not be without my houseplants and yep it might be a tad daft but I do talk to them, I also scold them if they aren't behaving and producing flowers for me, they don't take any notice and carry on in their own sweet way but I guess it helps me, lol. For most of my married life I couldn't keep violets alive then I was given one that my dad bought for mum just before she passed away, its now nearly six years old and happy to say is thriving and produces the most gorgeous flowers, orchids are a different matter altogether and once they enter my home are doomed never to flower again...

I also like houseplants. I could not live without them.
I don't talk to them, but I do talk to the woolly aphids that attack them. I tell them to go away, but they won't listen to me !
I'll be glad to get back outside though, and I hope we get a better summer than last year.
