Ending season 21st Sept

Well in this small patch of Devon today I took down the runner bean poles and supports after a decent and prolonged harvest. Most other crops were container grown and the second most success goes to the main crop carrots although tub parsnips are looking good! Courgette and dwarf bean were so-so as was the flower boarder grown curly kale.
I hope fellow gardeners have reaped from their plots.

Our potatoes have been disappointing this year. There were plenty of them but they didn't have 'that new potato flavour' at all. In fact I can't wait to use them up so I can go out and buy some (shh!!)

It's nice to know you've had good crops :o)
I had some potatoes in tubs, but not as many as last year. I think it's because I was late planting them.
