It looks cold and dreary Donna....hope you're keeping warm. I had to laugh when I read your blog title. "Broad" being a derogatory US term for woman, you can imagine what I was expecting when I clicked on the link. 8-/

I've never seen Ranworth that empty before.....When we used to go....boats would be queing up for a mooring.:-))

Looks bleak doesn't it Donnah, I have great memories of the Broads, which included conking out in the middle of Oulton Broad, hitting another boat whilst getting the prop caught on a chain ferry across a river, cant remember where now, but they said it was the last remaining chain ferry on the Broads. It was nearly no ferries remaining that day. Funny now, but not at the time.

I love the Norfolk Broads and the surrounding area. When I was a child my parents always hired a caravan somewhere near Wroxham for the 2 weeks annual summer holiday...happy memories.
