Now Autum is apone us I do not have much gardening to do apart from the clearing up of leaves. And over wintering my plants. So I have made myself a new prodject which I can be getting on with.
This is the flower bed which was new at the beginning of the summer time
I am going to bank it up higher(with Hubbys help) using sleepers. I have been collecting large bits of flints also I have some large rocks. I thought it would be nice to have a rockery garden with a few evergreens mixed in.I have not had a rockery before so I will no dout be asking plenty of questions about it,I will keep you posted If Its not to cold tomorrow I might make a start as I have a couple of days off. The winter woollys will be on once again.

Ian I really really really hate this sort of weather. Dont mind Autumn and winter when the sun is out because we do get some nice days. Last year I was mowing my lawn on xmas eve and the year before that. What else would you be doing on xmas eve I must be mad LOL

Looks good already Donnah It will look even better like you said with some big rockery stones on, then you can set more plants in front of and behind the stones. I'm getting exited for you LOL.

It will be nice for you to have a rockery Donnah. There are so many plants you will be able to grow in it. I'll be looking forward to seeing how it progresses.
