Popped back for a few minutes

Hello everybody. Thankyou for all the lovely well-wishes I have received. I’m five days post-surgery now & getting about a bit more than I have been able to do over the past four days. Switched on the computer for the first time, & just popped into GoY for a few minutes & now I’m going to gingerly stretch out on the sofa in front of the tele for another hour until my OH gets home from work. Having to take things very easy at the moment, but I am itching to get out into the garden again. At least it is drizzling with rain today, so that is some small compensation. I have a tiny Hosta ‘Fire & Ice’ to go into the new side garden, but it will have to wait for another few days until I am able to do that.

So very important not to do too much, or too soon. Gently does it Dwyllis til you are fully healed,& afterwards also,as your strength & energy gradually builds up again. Frustrating i know when you see things you'd like to be doing,or feel you ought to be,but the more you sleep & generally rest in the early days,& weeks even, the better your health will be in the longer term, honest! Every good wish for a steady, sensible,& perfect recovery x

Thankyou to everyone above. I am now 7 days post-surgery & have had to stop taking my stronger pain-relief med as it was making me feel so nauseated all the time .... the hospital Dr gave me a anti-nausea pill to take along with it, but I don't want to be swallowing down pills to counteract nasty side-effects from other pills. So did without it all day yesterday, but really felt the difference when I went to bed, as could not get comfortable at all. Will have to see what today brings, but at least my appetite is returning now.
