Here is more proof that we have more water in NZ than we know what to do with! It’s everywhere! It’s beautiful! It’s often spectacular. And best of all …..it’s cool. Not all these photos were taken by me, but all are in the public domain.
The short but immensely powerful Huka Falls ….a big tourist attraction.
As if we needed reminding ……stamps to commemorate our waterfalls

Yes, still very hot days over here, but we did have a day of rain last week & was considerably cooler, but back to same blazing heat now.

For anyone who's into waterfalls and rivers, I have just read a wonderful book called "River boy" by Tim Bowler: aimed at teenagers but I simply loved it!
