Flowers blooming along the footpath

I didn’t manage to put up more than 2 photos of flowers blooming in my neighbouring gardens over the past week, in my blog of yesterday, so will add them onto this brief blog. The photos below were all growing on the footpath around a lovely 1865 historic home called Kendrick Cottage, just around the corner from me …. not an old house for UK, but one of the earlier European homes here in NZ.

Probably due to cracks in our asphalt footpaths along the edges LOL. Footpaths in small rural towns tend to be very wide, as do most roads in NZ, so it is nice that people do this ... or maybe it is nature herself, with plants in gardens self-seeding in the cracks on the footpaths?? Not sure. Either way it does look lovely.
