Clobbered!

Yesterday I admired the flowers so bright in the garden walls.

This morning they are clobbered by the overnight frost.

Here in the so-called “sunny” South temperatures went down to -4 so the experts say.

Garden is saturated and ground covered with a carpet of leaves. :O(

Wet and grey here and some of my flowers are looking very sorry for themselves, we have had a couple of overnight frosts in the past week but always been washed away, I much prefer a clear cold day rather than dull and damp......

Pamg : Poole is a better shopping place than Bournemouth. Haven't visited the latter for years.has gone down hill over the years.

Brownsea is well worth a visit. Did you see the peacocks?

(Spent first two weeks of September in Herefordshire and had only one afternoon of rain.)
