Arum Lily

Every year we have a blitz on the Arum Lily plants (!) in our garden. This year was no exception.
We had a great day, three of us, and felt quite smug when we saw the HEAPS of wilting plants we had easily pulled up.
This morning, my other half found this specimen! It was SO LARGE we had all missed it.
I was rather taken by it, actually, and placed it in a 10 inch vase so we, well I, could admire it. It was so heavy it tipped the vase over. Some thanks!
Does anyone else have this Arum Lily problem? It’s a fascinating plant, in a way, but so obtrusive.
Can’t blame it for hanging on in there, can you?

Well keep those hedgerows well away as the plants have a sneaky way of moving to one's garden!

These grow in the hedgerows all around here but I've never seen them in my garden. I like them as wild flowers but wouldn't want them in my garden.
