News Flash - the Sun shone in Glasgow

Morning everyone. As I work at a computer all week I very rarely use it at home so it was lovely to come in on a rainy, dull Monday morning and see lots of replies to my blog – really cheered me up and gave me a laugh – especially knowing there are other mad PJ wearing gardeners.
The sun was shining in Glasgow yesterday – a very rare experience. My husband was very disappointed though as he had been doing a rain dance all week. Sunny Sunday means grass cutting – his one and only gardening job although with the complaining you think it was torture. He just doesn’t understand the pleasure you can get from the garden.
Megan appreciated all his hard work though as she lay and sunbathed once he had cut the grass.
I have taken a few photos of some of my plants – a few are a mystery to me as I planted them and now haven’t a clue what they are. I will upload them tonight and hopefully somebody can help me – I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I haven’t been nurturing a few weeds in the hope they turn into something splendorous.
I’m really looking forward to looking at everyone’s new photos and stories – in between working very hard of course.
