I have recently acquired my first garden attached to my home, my other one was an allotment. my garden was originally very overgrown and neglected so it was a case of starting from scratch. I have achieved quite a bit since February of this year, but still have a long way to go. I have had a raised bed made for tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce but have included some flowers also, my theme being predominantly red. I have planted potatoes, runner beans, cabbage, broccoli and other vegetables and salad items, but also have potted flowers and herbs. I am not very knowledgeable on the planting times and when to do other garden chores, so I still have a long way to go and a lot to learn, but I do have a gardening friend who is immensely helpful and full of suggestions.
