Active retired and mad about cats Enjoy gardening in the bits that they don't dig up! Like the way that I have reclaimed the awful patch that I inherited with this house and thought that I had finished the job apart from weeding. However, I have found that some plants don't do what I thought they would and need moving, or that there is a hole in the border or that it would be nice to have some more pots and so it goes on. Failed spectacularly with potato barrels last year, but manage tomatoes in pots, courgettes and herbs.Not room for much else in the eatable line as I am principally a flower person now.Had loads of land and grew lots of veg when I lived in France, but everything grew by itself where I was.
