Possible rabbit repellent?

While looking for something on the BBC Plant-Finder pages, I found this:

Jacob’s ladder, Polemonium caeruleum is an easy perennial to grow and one of Pippa Greenwood’s favourite choices for coping with rabbits in the garden.

Not only do rabbits seem to leave it alone but it also an attractive plant for the border with moist but well-drained soil.

It forms clumps of dark green leaves, and in early summer produces spikes of lavender-blue, bell-shaped flowers.

To prolong flowering, deadhead regularly. Plants can be propagated by sowing seed in autumn or spring, or by dividing plants in spring
