There IS going to be a pond, though – in the SIDE garden. And here it is. Well, with a little imagination ….
It’s all been very hard work. But not for everyone – here’s Lily, relaxing in the potting shed!!

How does Lily stay so white Looking forward to seeing your pond when it is up and running What sort of fish will you keep?

I'm not going to keep fish - it's a FROG and/or NEWT pond!
Lily's fastidious! And she only ever sits in EMPTY seed trays!!

Lily has the hardest job of all.....it takes a lot of energy to supervise everything. LOL. Your pond is going to look great. Well done Frogprincess.

If you want frogs and/or toads dont encourage newts, they will eat the spawn.Up until two years ago we always had lots of frogs and toads around the garden. Then we had some newts given to us and the F&T population has drastically reduced, We would rather have the F&Ts back.
Its just an idea but with some of the soil you dig out you may want to raise the wall by a foot, This will give a nice bank to plant on and you wont have to take out so much soil.
