I would describe myself as a keen amateur rather than a gardener. My garden is approximately 90 x 40 feet and is filled with more plants and shrubs than I would care to count. I have heavy clay soil which for the past two years I have been working to improve. However, when a plant takes to it, it really grows well. I enjoy reading the gardeners questions on the site.

I have a very busy working life as an audiologist and find the garden to be a space to relax after a hard day at work.

I have just begun to grow fruit and veg and have found the produce to be so much tastier than anything bought in a shop.
