Genus: Gaillardia.
Species: Gaillardia aristata.
Good perrenial. Flowers all summer except in extreme heat.
March 26th 2008 seeds sown indoors (saved from garden)
Old gaillardia looking very tired and one has given up, so on 5th July bought 2 new ones, much darker than Arizona, not sure of name yet, one in yellow bed and 1 next to path in back garden in front of red rose. There is also a youg one growing in yellow bed and some more in pot from seed.
Plan to put them in mulberry bed to make a bit of a Gaillardia show down there, and in front yellow bed.
