Iris 'Chrysographes'
Species: siberian iris.
Grown from seed last spring and planted in border at top of hill.
Dramatic indigo violet almost black flowers May-June,with contrasting yellow flecks on the throat, 0.5m tall.
Full sun to part shade, well drained fertile soil, fully hardy.
Only in its second year and I have buds :-))
