Jasminum sambac 'Maid of Orleans'
Genus: Jasminum.
Species: Jasminum sambac.
Flowers frequently in Summer and again in winter. Has been a slow-growing house plant for me and struggled last year when I brought it in in the fall. It dropped all of its leaves and only managed to grow one back in late winter. It flowered after being inside for 2-3 months even without its leaves. Usually flowers once a month, flowers last about 24-48 hours. Very strong, pleasant fragrance that smells like a perfume.
